Explore Bloomsbury and the Foundling Museum on Tuesday, 5th September 2023 at 11am
Once again, we’ve asked Grethe Hauge, our usual guide, to take us on a walking tour at Bloomsbury as well as a visit to the Foundling Museum. Grethe’s tours are always very good and informative.
We’ll meet up at Russell Street Tube at 11.00. The walk will take about 30 minutes and we’ll then visit the Foundling Museum where you can explore more than 275 years of London history through their objects, stories, and spaces. We anticipate spending 1½ - 2 hours at the museum. The general entry fee is £10.50 and it’s £8.25 for concessions.
We would suggest a hearty pub lunch afterwards and apparently, one of London’s finest pubs, The Lamb, in Conduit Street has close connections to the Foundling Hospital and offers Foundling Museum visitors 10% off all food and drink.
The price for this walking tour is £10 per person for members and £12 per person for non-members excluding entry to the museum.
