City Buildings Past and Present - A Guided Tour 2 April 2020 CANCELLED

When: Thursday 2 April 2020 at 11am.

Where: Meet at St Paul’s Underground Station outside Café Nero

On this guided walk through City we will hear about Wren, Hawksmoor, Horace Jones and today’s ‘starchitects’ and their City buildings.

We will see beautiful churches, a market from the past, Medieval alleyways, hidden gardens and exciting architecture spanning many centuries from Roman, Saxon and Viking times. The City is forever changing with stunning new landmarks appearing all the time and these buildings of the future are a major focus of our walk through the financial heart of London.

We will finish our tour at Sky Garden on top of 'The Walkie-Talkie' from where you can see ‘All that London has to offer’.

Afterwards, there will be an optional lunch at a nearby pub, or you may choose to stay ‘atop of town’ for a drink or a meal in the Sky Garden.
