Music for Midsummer - The Ionian Singers 23 June & 7 July 2018

Where: The Danish Church, St Katherine's Precinct, Regent's Park NW1 4HH

Part songs by Elgar, Stanford, Coleridge-Taylor, Ireland and Finzi, madrigals and English and Danish folk-song arrangements in a programme of music to delight on a summer's evening.

This concert is a collaboration between the Danish Church and The Ionian Singers with half the ticket takings to go to the Church.  In addition the concert is sponsored by Danske Kvinder.

Tickets include admission to the church garden after the concert to celebrate St John's Eve.

Parking is free from 6.30 by the church but free parking all day is available on side streets close to the church.  The church is within walking distance from the following tube stations: Camden (c 10 min) and Regent's Park (c 15 min) and Great Portland Street (c 15 min).

Second Concert: And I saw another angel'

When: 7 July 2018 @ 7.30pm

Where: St Peter's Church, Eaton Square, London, 7 July 2018 at 7.30pm - '

The singers are joined by the organist Julian Collings in a programme of sacred music portraying bleak despair to serene joy – well-loved works alongside discoveries to delight by Purcell, Blow, S.S. Wesley, Stanford, Warlock, Bainton, Ireland, Mathias, Harvey and Salter.

Parking is free near the church from 6.30pm. Walking distance from Victoria Station is c 10 min.
