A new research project on Danish Royal consorts in Britain through the ages is launching in September as a partnership between the Royal Museums Greenwich and the University of Oxford.

The Anglo-Danish Society has arranged a FREE tour of The Queen's House, an Inigo Jones Classical building commissioned by Queen Anne of Denmark. It houses a rich collection of artworks - and, rumour has it, a few ghosts!

At the drinks reception following the tour at 6 pm we will mingle with the scholars, curators, and professionals in the heritage sector who will work on Denmark's historical and cultural input into the British monarchy.

It is possible to arrive at Greenwich by DLR or rail - but if the weather is fair, then arriving by boat from Westminster Pier or St Katharine's Pier is a wonderful additional experience! (Use Oyster cards and Freedom passes for discounts)

This tour is limited to 25 participants so early booking and membership of Anglo-Danish Society is essential!
