CoScan International Award - call for nominations

Closing date for nominations: End of March 2019

The CoScan International Award recognises an achievement of outstanding merit by an individual, body or group related to one or more of the five Nordic countries. You can read more about the award, as well as read about previous winners here:
As you will see from the list of some previous recipients, the International Award is not limited to any identifiable category of people or organisations.  Our intention is to recognise those whose achievements in any field have added public lustre to any of the Nordic countries – who have caused the British and others outside the region to view those countries with even greater affection and respect.
Last year, in front of a capacity audience of 3,000, we presented Sandi Toksvig with The CoScan International Award 2017 at The Royal Festival Hall.
In October this year, in front of a capacity audience of 2,000, we presented Sakari Oramo, the current Chief Conductor of both the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, with The CoScan International Award 2018 at his concert at the Barbican.

We are asking for nominations for the CoScan International Award 2020; voting will take place at CoScan's AGM in April 2019, so please could you submit nominations before the end of March 2019? You can do this either by filling in a form on our website or by emailing our secretary: []
