Churchill Family Art & Turner at Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill and home to the dukes of Marlborough, has two new art exhibits that feature works by Churchill in one room and works by nineteenth-century master J. M. W. Turner in another.

“Art and the Churchill Family,” running 10 February through 16 March in the Long Library within the Palace, showcases recently acquired works of art, including unseen works by Sir Winston Churchill and family portraits from the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries. “The Young Turner: Ambitions in Architecture and the Art of Perspective,” appears in The Gallery at Blenheim Palace between 16 February and 22 April 2019.  This touring exhibition is organised by the Ashmolean Museum, and you will see that we credit The Ashmolean, Art Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund.

These two exhibitions will be included in the normal ticket price of a Palace, Park & Gardens admission, no extra fees will be charged.
