This is the Society's event of the year!
It is a fundraising event for the Scholarship Fund - we are therefore pleased to extend this invitation to members and friends of the Danish community.
To thank you for your support, and to encourage attendance, the Society is offering free membership for 2010 to all persons who buy a ticket and who are currently not members of the Society.
His excellency, Ambassador Birger Riis-Joergensen is very kindly and generously hosting this Anniversary Reception in his residence at the Embassy to celebrate the Society's 85th anniversary and the 50th Scholarship anniversary. During the evening entertainment will be provided by Danish musicians and performers, so please decide to come along, it promises to be an enjoyable evening...
Pernille Soerensen - actor and singer
Pernille has performed in theatre and entertainment programmes on DR1, TV2 and TV3
Michael Hasselflug - actor
Michael has performed in theatre, musicals and revues, films such as Olsenbanden, Pusher, Mord in Paradis, and TV series such as TAXA, and Kroeniken.
Bo Riemer - musician
Bo is the Danish Church organist, jazz musician, conductor and composer, has performed in entertainment programmes on DR1 and TV3, and with Pernille and Michael in the musical-impro-theatre troupe "Alt paa et Braet".
