European Parliament Elections in Denmark
Danish citizens residing permanently in one of the other Member States of the European Union (EU) are eligible to vote in European Parliament Elections in Denmark on 7 June 2009, provided that they have turned 18 on the day of the election and are not under guardianship with deprival of control of their affairs.
Those wishing to exercise their right to vote must request to be registered as voters on a special election list with the City of Copenhagen by 4 May 2009. The request must be made on a special form which can be printed from the website of the Danish Ministry of the Interior www.im.dk or from the City of Copenhagen's website www.kk.dk The form can also be obtained from the Danish Embassy in London - www.amblondon.um.dk/en, 020 7333 0200 or lonamb@um.dk - or the local Danish consulate or Vice-Consulate.
